An employee of the Jos Electricity Distribution Company (JEDC) was electrocuted while carrying out repairs at the Abbatoir area of Jos South local government council.
LEADERSHIP Sunday gathered that the deceased identified as Friday was electrocuted while fixing a fault.
A source in the area said he died when electricity was suddenly restored to the high tension pole he was working on.
Another member of Abbatoir community lamented the incident saying the late Friday was hardworking.
JEDC spokesman, Dr Elijah Adakole, could not be reach for comment at the time of filling this report.
