Estate Firm Partners Akwa Ibom In Multi-billion Naira Green City Project

A Lagos-based Real Estate Developer – PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Ltd, has concluded plans to invest several billion of naira in the proposed Green City Estate (GCE) project in Akwa Ibom State in line with the the ARISE Agenda blueprint of the Governor Umo Eno – led administration in area of housing, education, agriculture, sports and other infrastructural development.

Towards this end, the firm expected to signed various agreements with the State governments and other key stakeholders to actualise the project in the coming days has sealed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a media group, UyoInfomedia Ltd for a strategic sales and digital marketing of the massive estate investment.

The Green City Estate project, according to the initiators would cover 30 hectares of land already secured at Mbiakong axis of Uruan local government area.

 

The official signing ceremony took place at the Hilton Gardens along Four Lanes in Uyo, where Col. Kingsley Umoh (Rtd) and Ms Ekaette Ekanem signed for PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Ltd, and Mr. Edet Etim, and Michael Ekpo, initialled the agreement on the behalf of UyoInfomedia Ltd, marking a collaborative push to promote and develop the estate.

 

The event, which brought together key stakeholders from both organisations and realtors, according to the former military chief, underscored the project’s potential impacst on the local housing market and the State’s economy.

“PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Ltd, the developers behind Green City Estate, aims to create a modern residential and commercial hub in the region,” he stressed.

Speaking at the signing ceremony, the Managing Director of PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Ltd, Col. Umoh, further explained that the project aimed to “enhance visibility, streamline sales processes, and leverage online platforms to attract investors and homebuyers.”

 

He added that the project spanning 30 hectares, would provide ample space for sustainable development, green areas, and infrastructure tailored to modern living standards.

 

“This agreement comes at a time when Akwa Ibom’s real estate landscape is evolving rapidly, with increasing demand for eco-friendly and well-planned communities.

 

“The Green City Estate is positioned to meet these needs, offering potential residents access to quality housing in a serene environment,” he stressed.

 

Also, the Executive Director of UyoInfomedia Ltd, Mr. Michael Ekpo explained the importance of collaboration extended to the participants, and highlighted its role in advancing real estate innovation in the state.

 

There was an interactive session after the signing ceremony for open dialogue among the attendees, where notable highlights were addressed by the management of PEEDEEP Arcade Properties Ltd.

 

Industry watchers however noted the partnership between both organisations could set a precedent for digital integration in property marketing, potentially boosting regional economic growth through job creation and investment inflows.

 

Both companies expressed optimism about the future, with plans to roll out targeted marketing campaigns in the coming months.
