Family, Friends, Other Gather For Baike January 15

Family, friends and institutions where renowned educationist, Professor Adamu David Baikie, served have fixed an Evening of Tributes and Orations to immortalise his name and legacies on January 15.

Baike who contributed immensely to higher education globally, transited into eternal glory at the age of 95 on December 12. He has since been laid to rest.

According to a statement by the chairman, Project Implementation Committee, Walter  Miller University (proposed), Senator Tunde Ogbeha, the event would draw participants globally and be held at the Nigerian Airforce Event Centre, Abuja.

The occasion will witness tributes, orations, short drama, or plays that would celebrate the life and times of Professor Adamu David Baikie.

The event partners are Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria; University of Benin; National University of Lesotho; Nasarawa State University and Nigerian Academy of Education.
