As part of its ongoing commitment to sustainable community development, Promasidor Nigeria has donated a water tower and borehole system to the Palace of the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom in Lagos, to tackle water scarcity and further strengthen its relationship with the host community where the company operates.

The project, executed under the company’s Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, was commissioned on Thursday, 21st May, 2026, by the chief executive officer of Promasidor Nigeria, François Gillet, at the Palace of His Royal Majesty, Oba Isa Abiodun Faronbi-Shekoni, the Osolo of Isolo Kingdom.

The ceremony was attended by the monarch and his wife, Olori Taiwo Abike Faronbi-Shekoni, members of the Royal Cabinet, and senior executives of Promasidor Nigeria.

During the event, Gillet said that thriving businesses are built on communities, stressing that the borehole project reflected Promasidor Nigeria’s commitment to improving lives and supporting sustainable development within its host communities.

He explained that access to clean, safe water remains essential to public health, human dignity, and economic growth, adding that the initiative aligns with United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 6, which aims to ensure clean water and sanitation for all.

“At Pr” Masidor Nigeria, our responsibility extends beyond business operations. We believe in building meaningful and lasting relationships with our host communities through mutual respect, trust, and shared progress. This project is another reflection of that commitment and our enduring partnership with the people of Isolo,” he said.

Gillet also expressed appreciation to the palace and residents of Isolo for their continued support and cooperation over the years.

“We sincerely value the warmth and goodwill we have received from the Isolo community and look forward to sustaining this cordial relationship for many years to come,” he added.

In his remarks, Oba Faronbi commended Promasidor Nigeria for what he described as a thoughtful and impactful intervention that would improve access to clean water within the palace and the surrounding community.

“We appreciate this laudable gesture from Promasidor Nigeria. This donation will go a long way in serving the needs of the palace and the community. “ We pay for continued growth and success for the company and its wide range of quality products,” the owner stated.
