‘‘Distinguished speakers scheduled to participate in the summit include prominent figures such as Dr. Salma Ibrahim Anas, Special Advisor to the Presidency on Health; Dr. Oliver Ezechi, Director of Research at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research; Nabila Aguele, CEO of Fable Advisory and Former Special Adviser to Nigeria’s Minister of Finance, Budget, and National Planning; Dr. Dolapo Fasawe, Mandate Secretary for Health Services & Environment in FCT, Abuja; Dr. Bosede Afolabi, Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, and more.
Their expertise and advocacy will be instrumental in raising awareness, facilitating policy discussions, and fostering community engagement to bring about enduring change in the MNCH sector.’’
The organisers also said that the initiative adopts a strategic three-pronged approach that focuses on community engagement programming, digital media content, and stakeholder engagement sessions adding that the primary goal of the project is to tackle the root causes and barriers that impede access to quality healthcare services for mothers and children in the region, thereby bridging the gap between innovation and impact.
