“Our expectation is that the host community of Kalime Lastmotor area will partner the Foundation in the areas of security and protection,” she maintained.

Fombe stated that the challenge before the organization was to settle down and utilise the health facilities to meet up with the health needs of inmates, whom she said were the organisation’s primary target.

“For our children who are here at the Kids of Tomorrow Foundation, know that whatever challenge that you faced in the past, know that those challenges are like stepping stone towards greatness.

“The challenges will have become history. Henceforth, I want you people to hold your heads high, tomorrow belongs to you,” Fombe added.

In his remarks, a Trustee of the Foundation, Prof. Lukong Christopher, called for community effort to assist the underprivileged to succeed in life rather than wear a lukewarm attitude on the underprivileged.

Wife of the Cross River State governor, Rev. Mrs. Eyoawan Otu, was represented by the Special Adviser on Projects, Dr. Inyang Asibong, lauded the the management and staff of the Foundation for the initiative and pledged collaboration with the Foundation to impact on the society.
