The promotions committee of the Federal University of Technology, Minna at its 89th

special meeting on Friday approved the promotion of 19 associate professors to professor.
The committee also approved the promotion of 15 senior lecturers to associate professor.
A bulletin released by the head of information department of the university, Lydia Legbo yesterday said all the promotions were with effect from October 1, 2023, except
that of Prof. Usman Abraham Usman whose promotion took effect from October 1, 2022.
The breakdown showed that two were promoted in the School of Agriculture, three in the School of Electrical Engineering and Technology, Environmental Technology has four, while Information and Communication has two, among others.
