The Judicial Commission of Inquiry on Public Properties and Assets Recovery set up by Kano State governor Abba Yusuf to probe the administration of his predecessor and incumbent national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdullahi Ganduje, has asked the public to provide its secretariat with useful and genuine information for investigation.

The commission said anyone with such information should write to the commission‘s secretariat.

Its chairman, Justice Farouk Adamu made the request yesterday in Kano in his inaugural speech at Court Three, Audu Bako Secretariat, venue of its sitting.

He said the panel would give fair hearing to all parties involved, devoid of sentiments as its mission is not to witch hunt any personality but on a fact-finding mission and to make recommendations for possible implementation.

Part of the terms of reference of the panel include the review of sales, disposal or allocation of government properties and assets and providing a comprehensive inventory of all affected properties to determine the value and current market value.

He said the panel would also determine the individuals, agencies, companies to which such sales or allocation of properties were made whether they have changed hands and if so to whom, noting that, the panel would make appropriate recommendations.
