A Civil Society Organisation (CSO) B-360 Initiative has called on the President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu to embark on a talent hunt as he did in Lagos State.

The group however said it will also commence a campaign for attitudinal  change among Nigerians to see the need to support the incoming government.

In a letter addressed to the President-elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu and signed by its secretary general, Julia Uduak Joseph, the group said

“As an organization focused on promoting social responsiveness and good governance, we wish to remind you of one of the expectations of your electorates at the moment.

“We acknowledge the fact that your antecedents and accomplishments as a leader and Governor of Lagos State are based on your talent hunting ability, hence we urge you to replicate the same on a national scale by appointing competent individuals to your cabinet.

“We believe that by doing so, you will be able to deliver on your electoral promises and provide the much-needed dividends of democracy to Nigerians.

“As citizens, we are duty-bound to not only participate in the electoral process but also to partner with the government in ensuring its success. Thus, we shall embark on sensitisation of the general public, on the need for attitudinal change, inculcation of the spirit of patriotism and social responsiveness,” the group said, adding that they are after the success of Tinubu’s tenure as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

“We also hope that our suggestion will be given due consideration by taking the necessary steps to actualize the principles of talent hunt in your administration,” the group added.
