Since its launch, Google Maps has become an essential tool for over two billion monthly users, helping people navigate the world and discover new places.

The platform has provided one trillion kilometers of directions, covering everything from daily commutes to international travel. With 250 million businesses and places listed, Google Maps plays a crucial role in connecting consumers with local businesses.

Additionally, 500 million people contribute to the platform each year, helping improve accuracy and keep information up to date, with 100 million daily updates ensuring real-time relevance.

Nigeria’s restaurant industry continues to thrive, with the following establishments receiving the highest number of reviews on Google Maps: Mega Chicken, Farmcity Lekki, LoungeCrush Café, Hard Rock Café, Domino’s Pizza (Wuse, Abuja & Yaba, Lagos), Jevinik Restaurant, Cactus Restaurant, The Junkyard Grills and BluCabana Restaurant & Café.

From fast food to fine dining, the restaurants have attracted thousands of reviews, reflecting their popularity among both locals and visitors.
