Gov Fayose’s Brother, Isaac, Chides Oyebanji Over Poor Performance

Social media critic, Isaac Fayose has carpeted Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, for his abysmal performance in the state despite huge resources available at his disposal.

Isaac is a brother to former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose, who is one of  the promoters of Governor Oyebanji for another term in Office ahead of the 2026 governorship election in the state.

In a viral video on Democracy Day, the internet personality described Oyebanji as a failure while comparing him with other governors in the country.

Fayose commended Governor Alex Otti of Abia State for commissioning 15 projects in a day. He also praised the minister of Federal Capital Territory, Mr. Nyesom Wike for commissioning projects at the nation’s capital.

He lamented that Ekiti State Governor had no project to commission despite the huge federal allocations to the state.

Fayose also hailed President Bola Tinubu for  commissioning of some projects, including the 30 kilometres part of Lagos-Calabar Coaster Road and other projects across the country.

He expressed disappointment over the inability of Governor Oyebanji to commission any laudable Project in Ekiti State since assumption of Office in 2022 except what Fayose called “upkeeps to the former Governors as if they are his wives”.

 

The social critic and philanthropist accused Gov. Oyebanji of ordering thugs to take over the Streets in Ekiti inorder to prevent protests against his government on Democracy Day, and for failing to deliver any meaningful dividend of Democracy to the People except upkeep to former Governors in the State inorder to secure their support for second term.

 

His words in pigin; “But, my own Governor for Ekiti nothing to commission, the only job wey he dey do, na to dey give upkeep to former Governors like dem dey be his wives.”

 

“Giving Dem upkeeps, just give dem money, o ya , chop money  go and see  President for me make you beg am, make him use me again, nothing to commission for Democracy Day, nothing lined up to commission in Ekiti Satte. We wan protest, dey don block the Roads, dey don even put thugs for roads”.

 

“Persons wey, man, no feel catch, God go catch am, God will deliver that State, Ekiti  by the grace of God. God will deliver us from your hands and other former governors. Happy Democracy Day, my People”, he concluded.
