Gov Oborevwori Dissolves Delta Board Of Internal Revenue

Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta State, has approved the dissolution of the Board of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service with immediate effect

The dissolution was contained in a statement by Dr. Kingsley Emu, secretary to the state government, on Monday.

The statement reads; “It is hereby announced for the information of the general public particularly Deltans, that the governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori has approved the dissolution of the Board of the Delta State Internal Revenue Service with immediate effect.

“Accordingly, the chairman and the members of the board are by this announcement directed to handover all government properties in their possession to the most senior career officer in the establishment.

“His excellency the governor, wishes to use this medium to thank members of the board for their service to the State during their tenure and to wish them well in their future endeavours,” he said.
