The National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), has asked President Bola Tinubu to consider Vrati Nzonzo, former House of Representatives candidate for Numan, Demsa and Lamurde LGAs in Adamawa State as minister for youths.

North-East chairman of the group, Mr Abubakar Musa,  said appointing Nzonzo, a peace and security expert into Tinubu’s newly formed cabinet would boost youth development in the country.

He stated that Vrati Nzonzo is a former council chairman, and a man of good social standing and academic profile who fits into the office of youth affairs minister.

He said NYCN North East zone’s choice of Vrati Nzonzo is based on their desire to have the best hand in Tinubu’s cabinet to reposition the youths.
