Group Distributes Learning Materials To Pupils In Nasarawa

A support group for former inspector general of police, Mohammed Adamu, Progressive Youth’s Movement for Adamu Muhammed Abubakar has distributed exercise books and writing materials to pupils in Lafia, Nasarawa State.

The deputy chairman of Keffi local government, Hon. Musa Ali, Dan Sarari Keffi, who doubles as the zonal coordinator of the youth movement, said that the exercise was flagged off on Monday at Wako community in Wako local government area of the state.

Dan Sarari Keffi added that the distribution is part of efforts to promote learning at the grassroots level.
He said the exercise targets five zones: Keffi, Karo, Toto, Nasarawa and Wako.

He said the gesture, tagged “Promoting Communities Through Education,” is an initiative of the wife of the former IGP, Hajiya Rukkaiya Abubakar Adamu Lafia.

He said, “I am calling on the good people of Nasarawa State to support this initiative and Adamu in their effort to improve education in Nasarawa State.

“Adamu has shown that he is more than ready for the job ahead of him. He is committed and experienced enough to take the state to greater heights.”
