Thinklab Group, a non governmental organisation, has donated N5 million for the building of a new secretariat for the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) in Niger State
The CEO of Thinklab Group, Dr Sa’id Alkali Kori,speaking during the donation at its headquarters in Abuja,said the company has also committed to funding part of the construction of the new NIA secretariat building in Niger State.
Kori added that the gesture reflects Thinklab Group’s dedication to supporting professional development and empowerment in the architectural community.
“The donation is to support the celebration of the chapter’s 40th Anniversary and the Foundation Laying Ceremony of its secretariat, ‘Umaru Mohammed Bago House’, scheduled for November 4, 2025.
“As the major development partner in Niger State, Thinklab Group is involved in various projects, including the construction of the 3-Arm Zone GRA, conversion of Shiroro Hotel to IBB University Teaching Hospital, development of Trailer Parks, Madalla Economic City, and several road infrastructure projects,” he said.
He noted that the company has consistently supported the NIA Niger Chapter with various donations and has been the highest employer of Architects in Niger State over the last two years.
Earlier during a courtesy visit to Thinklab headquarters in Abuja, the NIA Niger Chapter delegation, led by the chairman Arc. Usman Yerima, expressed gratitude to Dr. Sa’id Alkali Kori, Group CEO of Thinklab Group, for his commitment to empowerment and professional development.
The delegation also sought the company’s support for the chapter’s new land development project.
The NIA Niger Chapter commended Thinklab Group’s developmental projects in the state, highlighting the company’s significant contributions to the architectural community.
The NIA Niger Chapter delegation lauded Dr. Kori’s generosity, describing him as “family to Niger State” for his numerous contributions to the architectural community, adding that the gesture further underscores Thinklab Group’s commitment to empowering professionals and fostering innovation in Nigeria’s built environment.
