The Conference of Civil Society for Transparency and Accountability (COCTA) has called on the federal government to harness the expertise of Mr Akan Udofia in advancing the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda championed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a press statement signed by its national coordinator, Comrade Olumuyiwa Onlede, the civil society group highlighted Udofia’s leadership capacity, professional competence, and commitment to national development as critical assets needed at this stage of Nigeria’s socio-economic transformation.

COCTA noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda is a comprehensive blueprint for economic revitalisation, institutional reforms, and inclusive growth. According to the group, achieving these ambitious objectives requires the active involvement of experienced professionals with a deep understanding of the nation’s challenges and opportunities.

The organisation described Akan Udofia as a distinguished Nigerian whose track record in governance, leadership, and private sector development demonstrates innovation, transparency, and results-driven management.

“Mr Udofia has consistently shown dedication to youth empowerment, economic transformation, and national progress. His strategic insight and ability to mobilise partnerships position him as a valuable contributor to the administration’s developmental priorities,” the statement read.

COCTA further emphasised that integrating capable individuals like Udofia into the implementation framework of government policies would strengthen institutional capacity, improve policy execution, and accelerate the realisation of national goals.

The group urged President Tinubu’s administration to consider Udofia’s potential role in driving key initiatives under the Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing that Nigeria’s progress depends on leveraging the expertise and patriotism of its most capable citizens.

It added that at a critical moment in the country’s history, the inclusion of competent professionals in governance structures would significantly enhance efforts toward economic stability and sustainable development.
