Gunmen Murder FIRS Official In Abuja

Some unidentified gunmen on Friday night shot dead a middle-aged man identified as Khalid Bichi in the Maitama area of Abuja, the nation’s capital city.

Information gathered revealed that Bichi, who was an employee of the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS), was attacked just before 9pm when he was out to get food.

Our Correspondent learnt that the gunmen shot him multiple times before fleeing the scene of the crime.

The victim was immediately rushed to the Maitama General Hospital, Abuja, where he was pronounced dead by the doctors.

The deceased has been laid to rest on Saturday after funeral prayers at the National Mosque in Abuja.
