I Love Onuachu’s Confidence –Juric

Southampton manager Ivan Jurić has expressed delight with Super Eagles striker Paul Onuachu’s recent confidence in front of goal.

Recall that the Nigerian international netted his first Premier League goal for Southampton against Nottingham Forest at the weekend.

Speaking ahead of the team’s next clash against Newcastle United, Juric told the club’s website that he’s happy with Onuachu’s form and hope the team can stay strong.

“He has had a good week with confidence (after scoring) but I like him because he’s tough and training at the maximum.”

“They understand. We have to raise our energy levels to do 95 minutes with high pressure and intensity. You cannot change everything but the players understand and are working hard.”
