American rap star Cardi B has vowed never to perform at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta again following a heated confrontation with the venue’s staff.
The drama began over the weekend during the final stop of her “Little Miss Drama” tour. Before the show, Cardi went live on Instagram to show fans a backstage argument. She accused the arena employees of being disrespectful and rude to her and her team for no reason.
“You and your employees are being disrespectful. I’m not going to perform today,” the rapper said during the live stream. She claimed that after performing 35 shows without any issues, the staff in Atlanta were “pointing fingers” and “touching people” unnecessarily.
Although she eventually went on stage to finish her sold-out tour and even brought out Missy Elliott as a guest, Cardi remained angry. During her performance, she told the crowd that the venue had been “playing games” with her.
“This will be the last time I’m ever in here,” she told the fans. “Next time, I’m having my concert in the parking lot.”
While Cardi made it clear that she still loves the Atlanta Hawks basketball team that plays at the arena, she insisted she was tired of being treated poorly by the staff. After the concert, she posted a message on X (formerly Twitter) advising those in power to exercise their authority with kindness rather than arrogance.
