The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), has arrested 107 foreigners in Adamawa State.

The state comptroller, Sani Sule, while parading them, said  77 were Cameroonians, three from Chad, 21 from Niger and six from  Burkina Faso.

He said they were arrested following coordinated surveillance and intelligence operations carried out across the state.

Sule noted that the operation was in furtherance of the Comptroller General K.N. Nandap’s directive to strengthen border security and surveillance operations across all entry and exit corridors.

Further investigation and profiling revealed that the Cameroonian and Chadian nationals were suspected of involvement in fraudulent activities, specifically job scam operations.
