A chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and deputy chairman (North West Zone), Alhaji Jafar Muhammad Sani, has said the ADC coalition had come to stay despite intimidation and was committed to rescue power in 2027.
Speaking on Friday during the inauguration of elected members of National Working Committee to represent Zamfara State at the ADC national leadership, Jafar Sani said no amount of intimidation would stop the party from its commitment.
He said the ADC stood firm and committed to remain a formidable voice in the country and build its agenda on integrity, transparency and grassroots engagement.
According to him, the party has piriotised the inclusion of women and youths who he said would take the major leadership positions whereby youths would get 29 percent and women would 35 percent.
Sani also disclosed that the party would soon commence nationwide registration of members, and urged members to remain steadfast, noting that hardship and challenges were part of the journey, assuring of a brighter future.
Zamfara State ADC chairman, Kabiru Garba Gusau, said the party was making steady progress in the state due to its good manifesto, which he described as possible -centred and focused on bettering the lives of Nigerians.
