Actors Kanayo O. Kanayo, Nonso Odogwu, Ruby Okezie and Ireti Doyle are starring in Showmax’s Original Series Agu scheduled to premiere on the streaming app December 15, 2023.

The six-part legal drama tells the story of legal practitioner and an alcoholic, Etim Inyang (Kanayo O. Kanayo) who tries to revive his waning career by representing his new-found friend and traditional worshipper, Pius (Nonso Odogwu), accused of murdering his friend in a forest. Etim finds himself up against another colleague, Ruby Okezie, with whom he shares a dicey past, on the case, not to mention, a stern boss Lola (Ireti Doyle), who would go to any lengths to ensure her company isn’t dragged in public.
