The governor arrived at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA) in Kano on Monday, accompanied by his wife, Hajiya Zulaihat, and the member representing Musawa/Matazu federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Abdulahi Aliyu.

From Kano, he proceeded to his village Radda, in Charanchi local government area of Katsina State, where he joined family members to receive sympathizers who came on condolence visits.

He was received on arrival in Radda by his deputy, Faruk Lawal Jobe, at exactly 2:40pm on Monday.

Recall that Governor Radda was in Saudi Arabia performing the Lesser Hajj (Umrah) when he received the heartbreaking news of his mother’s death in the early hours of Sunday.
