A member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Elders Forum in Kebbi State, Sani Zauro Hukuma has declared that there is no alternative candidate or aspirant in the APC or from the opposition who can defeat Governor Nasir Idris in the forthcoming general elections.
He gave the assurance when he spoke with journalists in Zauro, Birnin Kebbi local government area of Kebbi State yesterday.
According to him, the Elders Forum Committee of the APC including the executive of the party and all supporters would visit all the 225 wards in the 21 local government areas to seek support and votes for Governor Idris’ victory in 2027.
Hukuma recalled the achievements recorded by the administration within three years which transformed Birnin Kebbi.
He cautioned the opposition against mischief, noting that Kebbi State was lucky to have a simple and generous administrator who respects everyone in society, particularly elders.
He warned those carrying out anti-party activities in the APC to desist or face the wrath of the elders.
