Kebbi Lawmaker Tasks MTN On Network Access

A member of the Kebbi State House of Assembly representing Birnin Kebbi South Constituency,  Hon. Abubakar Aminu Gulumbe, yesterday urged the management of MTN to provide   telecommunication service to his community.

Speaking in an interview at his residence at Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi metropolis,  Gulumbe listed the affected communities as Guddare, Kardi,  Gulumbe,  Lagga,  Ambursa, Zauro Unguwar Dambo and Nassarwa 11 which he said were seriously having MTN network problems.

He said during his campaign, people in those communities appealed to him to intervene on the problem and he promised to address it if elected.

He said he had met the branch manager of MTN in Birnin Kebbi on the matter, but urged people in the communities to be patient as telecommunication businesses will soon kick off after restoring the MTN network.
