Kebbi PDP Rep Candidate Promises To Tackle Banditry

Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate for Zuru/Sakaba/Danko-Wasagu/Fakai federal constituency, Prof Sahabi Danladi Mahuta has pledged to prioritise the fight against banditry in his constituency in Zuru Emirate if elected to serve at the National Assembly in the general election.

Mahuta who is a university don at Usman Danfodio University, Sokoto told reporters yesterday in Mahuta town, headquarters of Danko-Wasagu local government area of Kebbi State that his constituency is blessed with natural resources enough to  industrialise it but blamed insecurity for hampering its development.

He said he will invite both foreign and local investors to establish industries in order to provide job opportunities for the  teeming unemployed youths in the  emirate.

While charging the people in the area not to allow the current hardship deter them from voting advised them to come out en-masse to vote out those currently representing them poorly in the National Assembly. He also urged the youths in the area to be law abiding during and after the conduct of the elections.
