A 100 level student of Kwara State College of Education, Ilorin, Aminat Tajudeen, has slumped and died while receiving a lecture in a lecture room.
Sources told LEADERSHIP Friday that the incident occurred around 1:30 pm on Wednesday.
The sources said the deceased had collected her matriculation gown for the ceremony scheduled for yesterday (Thursday) before she breathed her last.
They added that Aminat was rushed to the school clinic after she slumped during a lecture.
She has been buried at he Muslim cemetery, Osere, Ilorin.
The spokesperson of the college, Mrs Abibat Zubair, who confirmed the incident, added that Aminat was mourned by the college and students during the matriculation ceremony.
„The provost visited the parents yesterday to sympathise with them and also mourned her today (Thursday) during the matriculation ceremony together with the students,“ she added.
