A first-class traditional ruler in Kwara State, Oloro of Oro Kingdom, Oba AbdulRafiu Ajiboye Oyelaran 1 is dead.
LEADERSHIP Sunday learnt that Oba Ajiboye joined his ancestors in the early hours of Saturday.
Though, there have not been official statement on the passage of the monarch from the Oloro’s palace as at the time of filing this report, the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has issued a condolence message.
In the condolence message signed by his chief press secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, the governor said he joined the people of Oro Kingdom to mourn the sad passing of Oba Ajiboye.
AbdulRazaq said the late monarch was a peacemaker, a father figure to all, and a man who was passionate about the development of his kingdom.
He said the Oloro would be missed for his forthrightness, his commitment to peace and unity, and his successes.
The governor prayed Almighty Allah to grant forgiveness and Al-jannah Firdaus to Oba Ajiboye, and to give the people of Oro Kingdom and his family the strength to carry on his fine legacies.
