I heard someone beside me groan in pain and I saw this lady who looked really I’ll stretch out on the hospital seat to rest. She really needed to see a doctor but was kept waiting. “Sorry,” I offered empathetically. She nodded faintly. You could see some people coming and going into the sections mapped out for doctors. I wondered if they were jumping the queue by pretending to be visitors or worse hospital employees, and hypocritically receiving treatment from doctors who were working at a very slow pace. In fact so slow you would think the world had no time!! It was finally my turn and I had every reason to be anxious and irritated as time dragged because of this. Out of curiosity I got up and checked in on the doctor meant to see me. Lo and behold, there he was taking politics with the patient! They were talking and laughing in their native language. At this point I was soooo angry I had to smile.
