Minister of Art, Culture and the Creative Economy, Hannatu Musa Musawa, has congratulated the 11 newly appointed heads of agencies under the ministry and charged them to be professional in the performance of their duties.
President Bola Tinubu on Friday approved the appointment of heads of agencies under the ministry.
Mr Obi Asika is the new director-general of the National Council for Arts and Culture while Kannywood actor and director, Ali Nuhu, will head the Nigerian Film Corporation as managing-director, among others.
Musawa described the appointments as timely to fulfill the mandate of the ministry.
The minister charged the new heads of agencies to hit the ground running and discharge their duties with diligence and patriotism to ensure maximum contributions to the creative economy.
