Nigerian musician, Oluwatosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi released his album The Evil Genius.

Featuring some of the artiste’s most personal works, it tackles subjects as love, betrayal, loneliness and family, the album also holds meaningful collaborations with African artistes – including Angelique Kidjo (Benin Republic), Tekno (Nigeria), Efya (Ghana), Whoisakin (Nigeria), Joeboy (Nigeria) and three-time Grammy winner, Soweto Gospel Choir (South Africa). Mr Eazi further collaborated with celebrated Nigeria stylist, designer and photographer, Daniel Obasi, known for his work with Louis Vuitton, for the album cover. 

Similarly, the album was recorded in several cities as Ouidah and Cotonou, Benin Republic; Kigali, Rwanda; Accra and Kokrobite, Ghana; Lagos, Nigeria; London, UK; and Los Angeles and New York City, United States.

Contributing producers to the album are Kel-P (Nigeria), Knucks (UK), Michael Brun (Haiti), Andre Vibez (Nigeria), Yung Willis (Nigeria), Nonso Amadi (Nigeria/Canada), KillBeatz (Ghana), M.O.G Beatz (Ghana), E.
