The Southern Kaduna People’s Union (SOKAPU) has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing General Christopher Musa  as minister of defence, describing it as one of the best decisions made by the President.

The union’s president, Samuel Tabara, who reacted to the appointment, said the people of Southern Kaduna remain thankful to the president for once again appointing one of their sons.

“We feel perfect about his appointment. This appointment justifies all the good things being said about him as a professional who has proven himself passionate about securing Nigeria and its people.

“We believe that this is among the best decisions the president has been making. It simply means, in a nutshell, that insecurity is coming to an end, and the days of those who sponsor insecurity are numbered.

“We also want to thank President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing our own. Even after General Christopher’s retirement, we, as a people, reaffirmed our commitment to supporting President Tinubu, and this appointment reinforces that commitment. We thank the president, and we will always stand by him,” he assured.
