The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) is to partner the Oil and Gas Free Zones Authority (OGFZA) with other key government institutions in promoting national development, economic diversification and youth empowerment.
This was disclosed by national president of the association, Olushola Oladoja, during an advocacy visit to the managing director and chief executive officer of OGFZA, Mr. Bamanga Usman Jada, at the agency’s headquarters.
During the visit, the NANS president commended Mr. Jada for his exceptional leadership, transparency and dedication in driving Nigeria’s industrialisation agenda. He also praised the agency’s commitment under Mr. Jada’s stewardship in creating a business-friendly environment that attracts foreign direct investment and supports job creation for young Nigerians.
“We are here today to recognize the remarkable work being done at OGFZA under your leadership. Your consistency in promoting transparency, accountability, and development in Nigeria’s oil and gas free zones is highly commendable.
As Nigerian students and future leaders, we remain loyal and committed to supporting your vision,” the NANS president stated.
In his remarks, Mr. Jada expressed appreciation for the visit and congratulated both the president and senate president of NANS on their recent election victories during the NANS convention. He said their emergence as leaders reflected the confidence Nigerian students have in their ability to deliver.
