The director-general of NAPTIP, Prof. Fatima Waziri-Azi, who spoke to newsmen on the matter noted that the woman whose name was given in confidence was engaged by a Nigerian agent (in confidence) to work in Baghdad Iraq, unknown to her that she has been sold for $4,000 to an alleged slave master.

The NAPTIP boss who spoke through the head of NAPTIP Ekiti Liaison Office, Oladimeji Samson said the victim’s family contacted NAPTIP for the situation but there are no contacts to reach out to the victim.
