It was organised with the National Senior Citizens Centre (NSCC) and the National Council of Women Societies (NCWS).

She added that it will have a state-of-the-art facility, with well-trained professionals who will serve as caregivers.

At the event, the foundation also distributed wheelchairs for senior citizens with challenges moving around.

Top dignitaries at the event included Paulin Talen, a former Minister of Women Affairs and former spokesperson of the Nigerian Army, and Brig. Gen. S.K Usman (Rtd), among others.
