The Niger State pioneer coordinator of the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA) Minna Field Office, Alhaji Ahmed Emimaru, has retired after reaching the retirement age.
The staff of NMDPRA office in Minna in a fare well reception organised to appreciate his exit from service described Ahmed Emimaru as a dedicated leader of the field office.
Speaking on behalf of the authority, the head of operations, Mr Benard Akpan, applauded him for a successful exit while urging others to emulate him.
The former controller and pioneer of Minna Field Office, Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR), Engineer Abdullahi Isah Jankara, described Emimaru as a very humble person, team player, dedicated and committed staff whose humility is very exceptional, urging him to ensure maximum rest and care for himself and the family.
Jankara maintained that oil and gas is volatile and dynamic hence the need to think outside box by investing in CNG as continue investment in petroleum will soon become a waste.
In his response , Alhaji Ahmed Emimaru expressed delight for retiring in good health, saying he would return to farming with which he was known for ages.
Also speaking on behalf of the family, Alhaji Mohammed Hassan said they were humbled by the good words and prayers while he challenged Nigerians to be fair and honest in discharging their responsibility at every level of governance to better Nigeria.
