‎Nigeria’s music, arts, and culture continue to receive a boost as globally acclaimed gospel music icon Hope David will host her very successful annual global “Fusion Concert” on Saturday, March 7th, at the ICC-TTA auditorium in Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
‎
‎The Consulate-General of Nigeria has fully endorsed the globally ranking event due to its significant impact in showcasing Nigeria and African music and culture to the world over the years. Ambassador Geoffrey Teneilabe, Nigeria’s former Consulate-General, Atlanta, Georgia, USA, testified that the “Fusion Concert” has made a ” laudable contribution to the American community by providing a platform for artistic and creative expressions with a melange of African and American Gospel music. He added that the concert has not only created the opportunity to showcase African Gospel music to Americans, but has also helped to strengthen the relationship between the countries (Nigeria and America), and this has led to a greater understanding and appreciation of African values. Ambassador Teneilabe described it as a “memorable concert”.
‎
‎Remarkably, Hope David will lead the Nigerian and African artistes’ delegation to perform a special feature of high praise from Nigeria and Africa at the concert. In addition, the concert will also feature the “Fusion Mass Choir” and others guests artistes and choirs within and outside the America.
‎
‎Speaking about the concert, which is marking its 14th edition this year, she said, “The vision for this concert is to unveil the Nigerian brand of gospel music, culture and arts to the world, and we have been achieving that goal by God’s grace over the years with our efforts. This time, it’s going to be a forum for spiritual encounter. I trust God that people will come and encounter God and receive solutions to every problem or need in their lives after the program”.
‎
‎‎The “Fusion Concert, has, in her glorious fourteen years, been a landmark spiritual, social, economic, cultural and entertaining gathering for American and African families in North America. It has featured notable Gospel artistes such as Dove Award-winning Don Moen,
‎Naomi Christy, Soji Israel, Bisong Heavenstars,  Mike Stuckey, Aity Dennis, etc.
‎
‎Hope David is a multiple award-winning gospel music legend who hails from Idah,   Kogi State. Her music odyssey, which dates back to the early 80s, has produced global hit songs such as “Thank you so much Lord Jesus”, “God can do”, “Hallelujah”, “Salute”, and many others. This very proud and patriotic  Nigerian singer is also the founder and convener of the annual Nigeria Independence Day Celebration in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
