North West Cancels Debut Headlining Tour Days Before Launch

North West has unexpectedly cancelled her first-ever headlining tour just days before it was due to begin, leaving fans disappointed and the reason for the decision unknown.

The 13-year-old daughter of rapper Kanye West and reality television star Kim Kardashian was set to embark on the Kimokawaii Tour alongside 21-year-old rapper Molly Santana. The tour was scheduled to open in Dallas on 5 August before making additional stops across North America.

Ticketmaster has since marked the Dallas show and a second performance slated for 17 August in Toronto as cancelled. The tour’s official website has also been taken offline, although a 25 August show at The Midway in San Francisco remains listed on the venue’s website, making its status uncertain.

Neither North nor Santana has publicly addressed the cancellations, and no official explanation has been provided.

The tour was expected to be a major milestone for North following the release of her debut EP, N0rth4evr, in May. Earlier this year, she dropped the lead single, “Piercing On My Hand,” in which she responded to public attention surrounding her dermal piercing.

Despite her young age, North has already begun building her music career. She featured on FKA Twigs’ 2025 track “Childlike Things” from the album Eusexua and shared the stage with Molly Santana during her festival debut at Rolling Loud Miami in May.

Santana has also been gaining momentum in the music industry, recently appearing alongside Future on Drake’s track “Ran To Atlanta.”

Presently, the fate of the remaining San Francisco date for the tour remains uncertain.
