On its part the Northern Youth Frontiers (NYF) has praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his exemplary leadership and commitment to national unity during the funeral of former President Muhammadu Buhari, who passed away on Sunday.
In a statement signed by its national coordinator, Sama Musa, the NYF commended President Tinubu for overseeing what it described as a “dignified and unifying” farewell for the late Nigerian leader.
The group said the conduct of Buhari’s final rites reflected the respect he commanded and the strength of Nigeria in times of grief.
“These gestures signify not only respect for Buhari’s legacy but also an invitation to all Nigerians to reflect on the values of service, integrity, and patriotism he championed,” the group added.
The statement emphasised the importance of setting aside political and regional differences during moments of national reflection.
“As we reflect one life and contributions of Muhammadu Buhari, we are reminded of his unwavering commitment to the Nigerian people,” the group said. “
