Dr. Olejeme also urged continued support for the Governor of Delta State, Sheriff Oborevwori, commending his administration for strengthening the state’s political relevance at the national level and for ongoing developmental strides across the state.

This was contained in a statement made available to newsmen by Dr. Ezechi Chukwu, National Publicity Secretary of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Worldwide.

Dr. Olejeme was also honoured with the prestigious title of “Ugo Nwanyi” by the Women Wing of the Asaba Development Union, Abuja Branch. The colourful ceremony took place at the Mariam Babangida International Centre, Abuja.

She was recognised for her outstanding contributions to leadership, women empowerment, community development, and her unwavering commitment to advancing the welfare and participation of women in nation-building.

At the same event, two distinguished daughters of Asaba were honoured posthumously for their remarkable service to Nigeria , former First Lady Mariam Babangida and renowned diplomat and scholar, Prof. Joy Ogwu.

In her acceptance speech, Dr. Olejeme expressed profound gratitude to the organisers for finding her worthy of the honour.

She described the award as a call to greater service and urged women to remain steadfast, law-abiding, and actively engaged in leadership, entrepreneurship, and community development.
