Operation Hadin Kai Decorates Army Officers, Soldiers For Gallantry

Officials of Sector 2 Operation Hadin Kai of the Nigerian Army in Yobe State has decorated officers and soldiers of the command for their gallantry and sacrifices during operations.

Speaking during the medals presentation in Damaturu, the commander, Major Gen. K.A Isoni, said the medals parade was an age long tradition of recognising, appreciating, honouring and documenting the services and efforts of deserving personnel.

He said;  “The medal presentation is also one of the ways the Nigerian Army uses to show love and support to its personnel who sacrifice their lives and freedom for the fatherland.

“The parade further serves as morale booster to the officers and soldiers of Sector 2 Operation Hadin Kai in accomplishing assigned missions to their fatherland and contribute towards the attainment of the chief of army staff’s vision which is to have a professional Nigerian Army ready to accomplish assigned missions within a joint environment in the defense of Nigeria.

“We are determined as members of the armed forces to remain focused, disciplined and loyal to the constituted authorities while ensuring that we professionally defeat all the adversaries.

“To the troops of Operation Hadin Kai, I urge you to maintain the spirit of patriotism and continue to give your best in the discharge of your assigned duties and responsibilities.”

Governor Mai Mala Buni who was represented by his special adviser on security, Brig. Gen. Abdussalam (rtd) while decorating the troops commended the entire personnel of the sector for patriotism and professionalism in executing the war against insurgency in Yobe State from 2014 to date.

“Remarkably, the presence of Nigerian Army personnel within the state has tremendously contributed to the stabilisation of peace in the polity and revival of socio-economic activities within Yobe State in particular and the North East region at large,” he said
