Team Nigeria’s Onwuzurike Udodi Chudi has qualified for the semi-finals of the 200m Repechage at the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympic Games in France.

The United States-born Nigerian athlete finished first in heat one with 20.51secs to qualify for the final on Tuesday.

Pettorossi Diego Aldo of Italy finished second in a time of 20.53secs while Mumenthaler Timothe came third in a time of 20.67secs.

Born January 29, 2003, Chudi won gold at the World Athletics U20 Championships in 2021 and is an alumnus of Brother Rice High School in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan.
