Oyo State governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, has attended a four-day Harvard Ministerial Leadership Forum in the United States.

Makinde, who disclosed this on his verified Facebook page on Thursday, said part of the requirement for the programme, which held between April 19 to 22, 2026, was outlining the legacy goals of his administration in Oyo State by looking at the top priorities of the government and that of citizens and how the administration has worked to address both.

The governor added that the forum afforded him the privilege to meet prominent participants, including former president of Tanzania, Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.

Makinde wrote: “Pleased to have been part of the Harvard Ministerial Leadership Forum which took place 19-22 April 2026. As part of the programme, I was privileged to meet various leaders including former president of Tanzania His Excellency Jakaya Mrisho Kikwete.

“Part of the requirement for the programme was outlining the legacy goals of our administration by looking at the top priorities of the government, the top priorities of citizens and how our administration has worked to address both.”
