President Bola Tinubu on Monday officially inaugurated the Board of Directors for the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Ltd. (NNPCL) at the presidential villa in Abuja.
The board’s primary objective is to drive the nation’s oil production to a significant milestone of two million barrels per day by 2024, a goal set by the Organisation of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC).
Pius Akinyelure, the non-executive chairman of the board, expressed the company’s commitment to achieving the targeted production rate.
