The artist disclosed this in a trending video on social media while performing at a social function.

LEADERSHIP recalls that the Ponzi scheme platform crashed on Monday, April 14, 2025, leaving thousands of its investors in despair while many have been hospitalised after the operators vanished with their monies.

The Fuji musician said he lost his N10million saving just days after he was introduced to the scheme.

“The money that I’ve been saving, I rushed to collect it. I took N10 million to CBEX on April 1st and it crashed,” Taiye Currency lamented.

Pained by the development, Taiye Currency rained curses on those who introduced him to the Ponzi scheme.

Mentioning one Sodiq, Small London, Araba, Lati and someone he called Brother Muda, the Fuji musician, also known as ‘Baba Honourable’, said, “Those of you that took me there will not do well.”

He lamented that he was not a money doubler or greedy until some persons introduced him to CBEX.

Meanwhile, netizens have called out the musician for cursing those that introduced him to CBEX, wondering if he would have cursed them if he had benefitted from the scheme before it crashed.

A social media user, Olorunoje Rosicky, commented in response to the video, “Your own is far better. You’re rich na. How much is N10million to you?”

For his part, Egeonu Henry Emeka wrote, “Baba you don’t need this. It’s not the fault of the people that introduced Cbex to you now. Let’s assume that you collect money, will you swear for them? Definitely, No! It’s a game of luck and more so, it’s Ponzi. It is painful but no vex…..even me invested my money and without collecting Kobo before it crash.”

Another commentator, Rasheedat Adekemi Fakolujo, said, “How much is 1N0m to you? That means you’re a gambler. You ought to know it’s 50/50 game of number. Let CBEX rest in peace ooo.”
