Ramadan: Hadiza Aliyu’s Foundation Feeds 200 Women In FCT

A non-governmental organisation (NGO), the Hadiza Aliyu’s Foundation (HAF), has feeds 200 women with cooking foods soft drinks in Wasa community as part of effort to mark the Ramadan  season and celebrate the International Women’s Day celebration.

This gesture aimed to bring joy and sustenance to vulnerable community members during the holy month, while commemorating the strength and resilience of women worldwide.

During the celebration, Hadiza Aliyu Muhammed, Founder and Chairperson of HAF, reiterated the organization’s commitment to supporting disadvantaged communities. “Our goal is to spread love, kindness, and compassion to those in need, and this outreach is a reflection of that commitment,” she stated.

The event, held at the Wasa IDP camp, highlighted the challenges faced by residents, including limited access to basic necessities like clean water. The community hosts 1,422 individuals from 12 states, totaling 7,776 people.

HAF expresses sincere gratitude to its partners, particularly the Saudi Arabia Embassy and No Hunger Food Bank, for their contributions to the outreach program.
