Renowned Nigerian Sculptor, aka, ‘Welder of the Federal Republic of Nigeria’, marked his 45th birthday today.
Born April 7, 1981, in Agege, Lagos, the artist, who specialises in synergetic metal sculpture, began his journey in the arts as a National Diploma holder in Painting and General Arts from Auchi Polytechnic. He obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) and a Master of Fine Arts at Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), and trained at the John Lopez Studio in the United States.
He is the founder of the Scrap Art Museum in Ile-Ife, Osun State, and is known today for hyper-realistic sculptures created from recycled metal scraps.
To mark his birthday, the staff of the Scrap Metal Museum posted a photo of the celebrant on Facebook, commending him for his creativity, passion, and leadership, which have continued to inspire them.

The artist also had an influx of messages on the platform wishing long life and prosperity.
