Rep Gets Traditional Title In Katsina

Chairman, House of Representatives Committee on Interior, Abdullahi Ahmad is to be turbaned as ‘Dujuman Katsina,’ a revered chieftaincy title from the Old Borno Empire, by the Katsina Emirate Council.

This was contained in a statement by his special assistant on Media, Sardauna Francis, made available to LEADERSHIP Weekend.

He said the lawmaker would be honoured with the traditional title by the Emir of Katsina, Dr Abdulmumini Kabir Usman, at a turbaning ceremony to be held at the Emir’s Palace in Katsina, the state capital, on September 21, 2024

The conferment of the chieftaincy title on the APC legislator who represents Musawa/Matazu Federal Constituency was in recognition of his milestone contributions to the socio-economic and infrastructural development of the constituency and the state at large.
