Royal by WACL has entered into a strategic partnership with the NIOB to provide vocational and technical training for artisans in Nigeria’s construction industry, equipping them with practical skills and modern construction techniques.

The collaboration was formalized through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), marking an important step toward addressing one of the sector’s key challenges, the shortage of technically skilled artisans capable of delivering work in line with modern materials and global best practices.

Under the partnership, Royal by WACL and NIOB will develop and implement structured training programs across key areas of the construction sector in compliance with relevant statutory and professional standards. The initiative aims to equip participants with practical skills, professional exposure, and pathways to sustainable employment.

The program forms part of Royal by WACL’s broader Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment to empowering communities and strengthening Nigeria’s skilled workforce. By focusing on capacity development, the initiative seeks to enhance professionalism and improve workmanship across the construction industry.
