Senator Ibrahim Abdullahi Danbaba (DBB), who represented Sokoto South Senatorial District in the 8th and 9th Assemblies, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslims in Sokoto State, Nigeria and around the globe as they commemorate Eid El-Fitr.
In a goodwill message he signed, Senator Danbaba congratulated President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, for his resolute leadership in guiding the country towards progress despite ongoing challenges. He also praised the governor of Sokoto State, Dr Ahmed Aliyu, acknowledging his unwavering commitment to the state’s development, which continues to inspire hope.
The former lawmaker further recognised the leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Sokoto State, Senator Aliyu Magatakarda Wamakko, for his steadfast dedication to the unity and strength of the party.
“Eid El-Fitr is a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewal,” Senator Danbaba remarked. “I pray for peace, unity, and prosperity in Sokoto State and across Nigeria. May Allah (SWT) bless our leaders with wisdom, guide their decisions, and grant our nation lasting stability.”
Reiterating his unwavering support for President Tinubu and Governor Aliyu, Senator Danbaba urged citizens, particularly members of the APC, to unite behind their leadership. He stressed the importance of collective effort as the nation looks towards 2027, calling on Nigerians to reinforce democracy and strive for progress.
